Eberhard Schuy

Eberhard Schuy arbeitet in Köln als selbstständiger Werbe- und Industriefotograf für internationale Kunden. Nach seiner klassischen Ausbildung zum Fotograf hat er mehrere Jahre als Assistent gearbeitet und seinen Abschluss als Meisterfotograf an der HWK Köln absolviert. Viereinhalb Jahre als Studioleiter einer internationalen Werbeagentur und weitere vier Jahre als Werbeassistent eines internationalen Industrieunternehmens gaben ihm das Rüstzeug für seinen Erfolg. Neben seiner Arbeit als Produkt- und Industriefotograf wird er häufig von Unternehmen als Coach und Berater bei fotografischen Produktionen und Konzeptentwicklungen engagiert. Er ist Autor verschiedener Trainings und Bücher zur Produktfotografie. Sein Buch >Objektfotografie im Detail > wurde mittlerweile in mehrere Sprachen übersetzt. . Als Gastdozent arbeitet er an verschiedenen Hochschulen für Design und Kommunikation.

Eberhard Schuy works in Cologne as a freelance advertising and industrial photographer for international clients. After his classic training to become a photographer, he worked for several years as an assistant and graduated from Cologne Handwerkskammer (Chamber of Crafts) as a master photographer. Four and a half years as a studio manager of an international advertising agency and another four years as an advertising assistant at an international industrial firm gave him the tools he needed for his success. Besides his work as a product and industrial photographer, his services as a coach and advisor on photographic productions and concept development projects are often called upon by companies. He is the author of various training courses and books on product photography. His book Objektfotografie im Detail has now been translated into several languages. He works at various higher education establishments for design and communication as a guest lecturer.
